Day 21: May I have another

So obviously I’ve been slacking on blogging.  Suzanne hasn’t really been emailing us our topics at the beginning of the week…so I like to think that makes me slack off.

“THANK YOU SIR MAY I HAVE ANOTHER?!”

Another card game.  We started out with a set of 10 for each exercise (I think it was like at least 5 different exercises…that doesn’t sound right…it must have been more), did some cardio, then one person picked a number out of a bucket (1-10…but Suzanne took out 1-4).  The first number was 6, so then we did all 5 (but I’m sure it was more than 5) different exercises 16 time, did more cardio.  Then another person picked a number out of the bucket and got 7….so we did all “5” exercise 23 times…see what she did there?  Then more cardio.  I'm sure we did more than that, I mean we have a whole hour...but I can't remember.

Tomorrow:  "You're kidding me right?"...I'm scared...

Day 17: Deuces Wild

My legs are so sore from all the lunges yesterday!!  And my skin is sore from the massage!!

While getting dressed this morning into my work out clothing I stopped and checked my back…just to make sure I don’t have a ton of bruises from the massage…I don’t (well none that are visible..I’m sure they’re there).

Deuces wild..sounds fun, Jason and I are going to Vegas soon..what a coincidence.  We started out with a warm up of 45 friggin lunges, 45 of these things called “skaters” which are another form of friggin lunges (and we use our weights for all of these), and a ton of ab work.  We then broke into partners.  I typically sit by the same people every day since we all set up in the same spots.  There’s this woman who obviously has been doing camp and running like her entire life.  She kicks major ass.  She could be a coach.  She runs really fast all the time, does all the exercises to the fullest all the time and is just pretty amazing all the time.  She turned to me and said, “Wanna be my partner?”  I said sure since I figured everyone else had already partnered…I knew in the beginning my day would suck….I really wanted to partner with the chubby girl

So there was a deck of cards spread out face down on the floor.  Each suit was an exercise (ex spades were friggin lunges…with weights of course) and each number was the number of times we did it, times 2.  So a 9 of spades meant we did the lunges 18 times.  Face cards, including ace meant 10, so 20 times.

After each card exercise we grabbed a jump rope and ran around the parking lot once while jump roping, we then dropped the rope and ran around it again backwards, we then ran around one more time forwards, went back, and drew another card.  We did this as long as we had left for the remaining camp time.  My partner and I ended up with 8 total cards..the goal was to try to get to 10 (I think we had the most of any other group).

At one point on one of our backwards laps one of the veterans asked me if “Mary [is my] partner?”  “Yep” I said.  She then said, “Bet you won’t make that mistake again”….all I could say was (I was trying not to fall on my ass and this was after running like a million laps) “I didn’t do it on purpose.”  She then tried to make light of the situation by saying, “She’s a good partner, she really pushes you.”

Anyway, my legs hurt..my skin still hurts..but it was kinda cool to do all that running and actually do it.  I felt obligated cause, again, I don't like to let my partner down.  But I still hate running/cardio.

Day 16: Rocky Monday Madness

::cue “Eye of the Tiger”::

Monady, very wet.  Class is never cancelled.  There’s a small covered section of the park near the entrance.  It’s the only covered area of the entire park and it’s too small to stay dry.  Thankfully not everyone showed up because we were so cramped there’s no way we could’ve fit one more person.

We worked with a partner and I partnered up with (I’ve never mentioned her before, but..) Joe from the original HWoOC’s twin (not literally, but she reminds me of her SOOO much!).  She’s young and parties and my first impression of her was overhearing her talk to someone about some sugar daddy that took her out and paid for everything (NY Eve).

We did a ton of lunges and arm things…oh and crunches..and a bunch of other things, but I can’t remember what they’re called.  When the wind blew it blew the rain right into us so while I was on my back doing crunches my whole front was getting rained on.  I started out wearing a jacket and soon took it off and sported my tank top…it was 40 some degrees and too hot!

It was nice, but I made the decision if it’s raining tomorrow, I don’t think I’ll go.  I was cold to the BONE after camp.

Before camp I scheduled a massage :-D  So I got home, had a quick protein shake.  Turned on the fire to warm the dog and try to warm myself and dry my clothes (I wasn’t about to put clean clothes on after working out and not showering).  I got to my appointment (and used one of my gift certificates that my lovely husband bought me for Christmas) and there she was…Minja…she’s pretty awesome…until she started my deep tissue.  I haven’t been to her in a while so I forgot how painful she is!  I kept having an out of body experience where all of the sudden, I felt nothing…then I’d be snapped back into my body and feel all the pain!  I love how she’s so thorough though!...I’m going to hurt tomorrow.

Day 8: Speed Demons

Today was really discouraging.  I got up, got dressed and headed to the park…not feeling too great the whole time, but thinking the adrenaline would help me through the morning.  When Suzanne pulled up I asked her what the plan was…she said lots of running.  There’s no way.  I was hoping I could do weight stuff, but there’s no way I can run.  My stomach feels like it wants to jump out my throat and my colon wants to slither out my…

I told her I came, I tried and I can’t do it.  She said that was ok and she was really proud of me for coming and trying.  She said to go home, take some probiotics and get in bed and hopefully I’ll feel better tomorrow.   She said I’ve done great this past week and to take care of myself.

I came home right away.  Good thing too cause I as siiick the second I got home.  I went to bed and slept until almost 1.  When I got up I thought I was feeling better… I ate a little something and started feeling sick all over again.  I’m hoping it’s just the Indian food.  J says it’s probably because my body isn’t used to the rich food since I’ve been eating better.

I just want to feel better.  If I have to take time off that’ll just really discourage me from continuing.

On another note…there’s a contest going on (well there’s a couple of them, but I’m only going to talk about one) and you can sign up anytime in January.  Once you sign up you have 12 weeks to get into the best shape of your life.  They give you a meal plan and what not and I guess the grand prize is $25,000.  There’s a woman in camp that is doing it.  So she’s “doing doubles” which means doing the 5:30AM class and then my 8:30AM class….why?  Why kill yourself to lose?  I would never (lol)  I’d have to seriously deprive myself of food and enjoyable couch time to lose weight and get cut….to lose $25,000?? LOL….good for her though….

Anyway, we’ll see how tomorrow goes.  I’m a little afraid to eat dinner.  I hope I can make it tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

Oh god…century means 100 right?...

Day 7: Tabata Torture

And yes it was.

Tabata: you do an exercise for (in our case) 30 seconds, then we did another exercise for 30 seconds, then another, then another…then we started all over with the first exercise for another 30 seconds, then the second and so on to repeat it all 4 times.

Definition of TORTURE
1: a:  anguish of body or mind : agony
b : something that causes agony or pain
2: the infliction of intense pain (as from burning, crushing, or wounding) to punish, coerce, or afford sadistic pleasure
3: distortion or overrefinement of a meaning or an argument : straining
 Yes, all of that...

As defined by Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

More on that in a few…

I have to first pause to talk about the girl I saw while driving to class.  I looked up in my rear view mirror while waiting to turn left at a stop light and first I see the car’s interior.  It’s all pink zebra print…ALL of it.  The seats, the steering wheel, the seat belts, the steering column, all of it.  I then see the Snookie Look Alike Reject behind the wheel.  I couldn’t help but…

Which doesn’t do the scene justice.  Oh, and the car…a white VW Bug.

Anyway…

Torture:  I was rushing around this morning to get Jason to work and myself to camp and I ate something I don’t usually eat… had a protein bar.  That may have been a mistake.  I was hurting today in camp.  Kinda felt like throwing up and my stomach felt like someone had punched me in it.  It was a new sensation…you’d think Idda felt this the first week.

So I thought maybe this tabata thing would be fun….um, yeah, maybe if my tummy wasn’t upset…maybe.  I thought maybe my tummy was upset because I ate something unusual and working hard.  But the rest of the day I felt that way.  J and I went to dinner with the Grandma, the Great Aunt, and the family.  We went to Indian (mmmmm!!!!) and if you’ve had Indian, you know it’s a shot in the dark how you’re gonna feel afterwards.  My tummy felt like I was punched in it L  I’m hoping I feel better tomorrow…and I’m really hoping it’s not whatever Jessica had!  I knew I should’ve been more wary about partnering up!

Tomorrow is a cardio day…I still hate running and I still hate cardio.  Hopefully I don’t have any stomach issues because today it hurt so bad I felt like throwing up mid push-up.
Pink zebra puke if I was lucky...

Day 6: Lean, Mean & Green

This weekend was nice.  I woke up feeling like new and no pain to pee (er, I mean getting down on the pot).  Must be all the protein I’ve been ingesting.  So I was back to my wifely duties (you know, cooking, cleaning, laundering, etc.) with no complaining…ok virtually no complaining (I mean come on they’re chores).

So with all the cravings I’ve been having, and with Mom being totally aware of them…she sent me a text asking what the Sees candy that’s chocolate, square and has crunchy peanut buttery stuff in it.  I thought about it, went on the website and looked at the menu…mistake.  I sent her a text with a few different ideas and asked her why and that that was mean that she asked me about sees candy when I CAN’T HAVE ANY!!  She said, “I know, I was hesitant to ask…but I thought it would be awful to buy a lb of the wrong candy.”  I told her that was, “an asshole thing to do.”  Please note…the woman who gave birth to me (and in most cases don’t people want to protect their kids from pain?) chose purchasing the write candy over my sanity and comfort.

Anyway..

I pulled up to the park today and walked down my favorite hill (sarcasm font) with no pain!!  It was awesome, felt like the first day!  I got down to the court and noticed Jessica was back, she said she was feeling better after spending all week in bed and the weekend trying to rebuild her strength.  She had some kind of stomach bug so I was really scared when we had to do partner work and we were partners.

I’m not sure why the theme today was “Lean, Mean & Green” other than the fact that we were on the grass today for a little.

In high school I hurt both my groins and today in the very beginning of our workout I started feeling pain in my left side.  I’m a little worried about that.

The sprinklers were on today so I made a point to run through them during boot camp.  The water was freezing, it was awesome..made me soo thirsty though.  I made the mistake of licking the water that ran down my face and ended on my lips…boy was that salty!

Jessica asked me while walking back to “cool down” if it was feeling a little easier this week.  I told her I wasn’t where I want to be, but its definitely a little easier.  I find I have a little more stamina and can do a little more running than I was able to last week.

The food cravings are insane.  I drove past Chinese Village Restaurant…mmm…Subway…an amazing donut shop.  I want a cheese burger…

I hit the grocery store today to pick up meals for this week.  Towards the end of my trip there was a screaming child….no one said anything, no one did anything, no one made a face at the people they were with.  Everyone pretended like nothing was happening.  I really wanted to pull a Christopher Titus and flick the kid in the back of the ear….why?  Because it hurts like hell and doesn’t leave a mark.

I won't share tomorrow's theme....but it's a doozy.

Eating Right

So at my evaluation I was told I need to eat 130g of protein a day...along with some other stuff, but you have no idea how little protein everything has until you have to eat 130g in a day.  I'm not sure it's possible to eat that much.  I'm getting sick of yogurt and cottage cheese (12g) for snacks.

That's 26g if I eat 5 meals...you realize how little protein everything has...String cheese, 8g protein I'd need to eat a little more than 3 of you to reach my bit....but the sodium and calories are insane.  Yogurt...9g walnuts...4g...

Driving home the other day I saw a pizza place.  Oh man, I'm craving pizza, chinese food, indian, a chocolate covered cream filled donut, nachos, hot dogs....

Day 5: TGIF Fun!

Really, fun?  You have the gall to call running a mile fun?  What is wrong with you people?!?!?!

I woke up when I rolled over in bed because my back is so sore from yesterday.  Getting dressed was painful again.  The chubby girl said her back was sore too.  I'm going to have to learn her name...she's super nice and I feel bad calling her the chubby girl.

I'm the only new girl since Jessica is MIA.  I'm pretty proud of my performance given that all these people have been doing this boot camp thing for years and this is my first time being active in years.

Mile:  13:38
Push-ups in a minute:  15
Crunch & Punch in a minute:  16

Not too bad.  I could've done better on the mile, but she makes us do some bullshit warm up run first so I was already super tired!  Plus there's a ton of hills (remember that street we park off...Rolling Hills...they're not kidding) at Craig Park...so the warm up run and the mile had hills!!  I'll say...13:38 isn't bad considering!

I mentioned earlier about "I'll show me" and doing more than I think I can to a limit....today while running the mile at the very last stretch one of the girls told me to sprint...I told her, "nope" she was shocked that I told her no...I could tell by the sound of her voice "ooook"...told her "I can't".  That's all I could say (I mean hell you want me to explain stuff to you after running my first mile in years?  You're out of your mind).  My legs get suuuper tight and I can't physically do it.  If I do, I'll totally biff it and fall (see my mom's blog :-D)

So I'm all stoked on doing this...hopefully come Monday morning, Day 6, I still feel the same!!!

Day 4: Armageddon + 10-second Abs

Woohoo!  I've been looking forward to this.  I used to have nice arms (I used to have nice everything when I danced lol).

Quick update...the leg burning, bad, but definitely easier to handle.  I can sit on the toilet instead of flop and feel fire.  I tried to shave my legs today and got stuck in the shower in that half standing half sitting but not squatting cause lord my legs won't let me position....I had to just deal and flop in the tub.

I am able to walk down the hill faster to the courts...more than 1 step a second.

We did a lot of arm stuff (obviously) and again with partners! Woohoo!!!  Amber wasn't there so I partnered with someone else....I can't ever seem to remember her name.  She's nice.  I don't mean this to be mean at all, but she's the chubbiest of the class and she struggles.  She has a lot of positive things to say to me though, she's encouraging and tells me I'm doing great and it'll get easier.

We also did 10-second abs...sounds easy huh?  NOPE!  We do like 4 or 5 different ab exercises in counts of 10 (so really it's like 50) and then we do it all over again.  I feel the buuuuurn.  Not the fire like in my legs...but a definite singe.

Tomorrow is the first timed day...we run a mile (I'm not going!) and get timed and we do a couple other timed tests...oye, it's going to take me 20 minutes to do a friggin mile....when was the last time I was timed on a mile?  Like 12 years ago?!

Suzanne comes up to me after class and says I'm doing great.  She's so proud of me for doing 5 days a week and she's already seen an improvement.  Me too!!  That hill isn't as torturous!!!  It still sucks, but I no longer fear falling down it when trying to work my way up it.

Day 3: Bootie Breaker

EEEEFFFF  (my way of cursing, we're not supposed to use 4 letter words in camp...must be respectful of the others).  I'm not going...I hate cardio.  I did not sign up for boot camp to do cardio.

I went.  I'll show me!!

I'm glad I went.  We actually did partner stuff today which was cool because it kept me motivated.  I didn't want my partner to hate me so I ran faster and harder so she wouldn't have to keep doing push-ups.  So when I was tired and running...I thought about if it was ME doing those push-ups and squats and how I wish my partner wouldn't walk...so I ran my hardest.

People were a lot more social with me today...everyone said "hi" and asked how I was hanging in there...they must realize that I mean it and I'm not going to quit.  I over heard Suzanne saying that Jessica got really sick and that's why she's not in class....::cough:cough:: liar :-P

Anyway, it's a wonder what the body can do when you feel responsible for someone else's pain.  I ran faster than I had in the previous 3 days because, again, I didn't want Amber to have to keep doing unpleasant things.  Well that may have been a little self serving, I was hoping if it wasn't too torturous to her it wouldn't be too torturous to me thanks to her.  Plus she was a good sport and took one for the team being with the new kid.

What happens when class is over?  I really like doing this with a group of people.  Not only does that keep me motivated, but having someone tell me what to do vs me having to come up with what to do next is nice...and I'll cheat if I do it myself.  I'm starting to have anxiety about what I'll do when class is over...will I get fat again? (assuming I see awesome results :-)...I effing better!  I'm quite literally working my ass off).  I definitely don't wanna get fat again...I can do without all that fire in my legs again.

I still have 22 days to go...I think I'll stress around then.

Day 2: ABSolutely Amazing, I'LL SHOW ME!

So I went.  I knew I would be really bummed if I didn't go.  I knew I didn't really mean I wouldn't go.  I knew I wanted to push myself...I don't know why I even kid like I was going to skip.

Can you guess what we worked today?  Yep, abs.

I rolled out of bed in pain.  Every movement hurt SO bad, I can't even describe it.  Getting dressed was awful, getting in the car was excruciating.  I haven't even thought about that GIANT HILL I have to walk down and up....

I pull up to the park and realize as I'm walking to the hill that I have to first walk down, that I don't think I can do this.  It took me 1 second to complete a step and I had to walk toe heel instead of the standard heel toe.  Oh my god...I think I'm going to just tuck and roll...that would be less painful.

I make it to the court and unroll my mat.  I stay standing, I know that if I sit down...well, if I can even get down on the ground (my fear is I'll be stuck in a half sit half stand not a squat cause lord my legs won't let me pose), I won't be able to get up.  That's not self defeating thoughts...that's the honest to god truth.

Thankfully when we got going the pain wasn't crippling....it was still excruciatingly painful to do a squat and when we slowed down it was painful, but I was able!

Hey wait, where's Jessica?!?  I know she said she was 5 days....she must have psyched herself out to quit..or take the day off...There's no WAY I could do that.  I'm SO glad I came!  I hurt but I'll show me!

After class I lagged on gathering myself up.  Suzanne came over to ask if I was ok...."Oh I'm fine, just resting myself before I have to make it up that hill!"  She laaaaaughed..."It'll get easier" she said.

I walked to my car by myself...I needed to be able to go slooooowly.  How the hell are all these people walking so fast?!?!  OMG the effing pain!!!!  Jesus, I can't do this...oh god...please let me make it to the car.....oh god....oh god....I finally make it up the hill and I just have to walk the rest of the straight away to the car.  That curb looks like a great place to sit..but if I sit, I won't be able to get up.

This time the flop into the car is like fire in my legs.  I start to drive off and realize this is pretty dangerous because I'm having issues with my legs functioning on the pedals properly....

Speaking of, I see a HUGE accident on the way home.  It was almost me.  Some idiot ran a read light and t-boned the poor person at like 45-50 miles.  I see the person running the light and I get really confused and scared for a second...I have a green light..I check...yep.  Then BOOM! they SMASH into the car going the opposite direction as me.  Jason was rushing me home because he was already late for work...I freak out and want to stop, but know I can't for Jason.  God that person must be so hurt!

I get home, have a protein shake (this time I put 1/2 cup of milk and 1.5 cups water..not so thick now are you?), take a shower and sit down.....and sit....and sit.....and consider doing dishes and laundry....but I can't.....I sit...I finally get some dishes done since I don't have to move too much to do those....but laundry...sorry, can't do it.

Tonight I have my pre-evaluation.  Suzanne will take my weight, some measurements (which I will not be sharing :-P) and give me a meal plan and some recipes.

She notices when I walk into the office that I'm "stepping gingerly" I told her, "Oh yeah, there's fire in my legs"...she laughs.  Glad I'm so funny.  She asked how many days I was...told her 5 that I didn't know what got into me....she laughs...she says I'll see a lot of improvement and that's great I'm doing 5 days.

That's always been my thing, "I'll show me" I like to do what I think I can't...when you do things like that it's just so much more rewarding.  The only issue is that's when you get hurt if you really don't know your limits...more about that later...

At my evaluation Suzanne says we're going to do more cardio tomorrow...I hate cardio...I'm definitely not going.

Day 1.5: Middle of the night

::rolls over in bed and is suddenly awoken::

Oh dear god I hurt SO bad!!!!  OMG OMG OMG

::falls back asleep::

::has a dream that it's 8:45::  I have to leave for class in 10 minutes (I'm pretty sure I said this aloud to Jason at like 5am)....however, what I said makes no sense...I need to be AT class at 8:30, 8:45 makes you late and makes you do 10 push-ups.  I'll skip today...I need to recoup anyways..I hurt..there's no way I can work out.

I finally realize I'm not late...it's very early...I lay in bed trying to psych myself out...I'm not going to go...I'm not going to go...I can't, I hurt way too bad...

Day 1: Nobody ever Drowned in Sweat!

Each day has a theme.  Day one, Monday 1/2/2012 was "Nobody ever Drowned in Sweat!"  I hardly remember what we did...lots of..working out.

Let me back up.  We work out at Craig Park in Fullerton.  We have to park off Rolling Hills (just remember the name of that street) and State College.  I get there early and read a little in my car.  I see a couple ladies walking to where we meet (I know this by their work out clothes, bags and mats in hand).  I decide to follow them as I don't know where we meet.

OMG there's a giant hill we have to walk down to get to where we meet..this sucks, but I don't realize yet just how bad it sucks.

I sit on the basketball court on my mat and wait.  The coach Suzanne pulls up in her car in the parking lot close to the basketball court (wait...why can't I park there???)

It's all a blur what we do on Monday.  After class my muscles are tired, not sore (yet), just exhausted.  I end up walking to the car with a girl I met, Jessica, this was her first day too.
"How many days did you sign up for?" she asks
"5...you?"
"Yeah"
I don't expect much chatter as we're hiking up that GIANT HILL "I think I'm going to fall and roll down this hill....its so steep" I'm seriously worried I won't be able to make it back to my car without injuring myself...I mean seriously you have to see this friggin' hill.
"You can do it, I have faith in you" she says...I want to kick her then.

I'm carrying my sweater, it was cold at first, a couple water bottles, my mat, 2 5lb weights and my car keys.

I fell into the car a few minutes later (literally, fell..well more like flopped all 100+lbs of me...I'm not even going to give a ballpark of my weight).  I decide then that I won't be carrying 2 5lbs weights anymore...I'm gonna get a bag..maybe a backpack to keep the weight even instead of on one side.

I get home, drink a protein shake and take a shower.  Shit this protein stuff is thick...I mean at least it tastes like chocolate milk.

Later that day I go to bed...aww this feels SO good!

Day 0: Prep Time

So it's Sunday January 1, 2012...I start my "Adventure Boot Camp" tomorrow.  But first, I need to go to the grocery store and prepare.

Grocery List:
Protein Powder
Healthy Food

Ok, that's broad.

Since I needed a giant tub of protein powder I went to Walmart...yes....Walmart.  And not even just Walmart...Anaheim Walmart.  It was either that or Costco.

First thing I see when I walk in is the produce, ok, this won't be so bad...it's all right here, I won't be here long.  I grab some strawberries, bell peppers, spinach, carrots, celery and maybe some stuff I'm forgetting.  I call Jason and tell him some of my dinner ideas like a stir-fry.  He thinks that'll be a great idea and says to get some water chestnuts and baby corn for the stir-fry...I ask him what section I can find that in and he says the "Asian" section.  I don't think Walmart is that cultured and I don't think they have an "Asian" section.

I proceed to find everything canned but water chestnuts and baby corn and no Asian section.  So, of course, I end up wandering and picking up other things for my basket.  Jason keeps giving me obscure things to get at Walmart...WTF?!  Walmart is not organized like most places...you want me to find La Victoria taco sauce?!

Jason also asks for carne asada.  I scoped out the meat for another 10 minutes with no carne in sight.  I finally decide to ask one of the...employees (boy I edited myself there) in the canned food section.  The look on her face when I asked for carne asada was pure confusion....she was mexican so I'm not sure what that was about.  She says she's not sure and asks this older white lady who looks like she's smoked a pack a day for the last 20 years, and probably wears patchouli.  She said, "Oh yes that's over here..." and she speed walks confidently passed all the 150 other customers down the aisle to the meat section...HELLO!!! I have a cart here lady!!!!  She looked where I had looked and, no carne.  She said, wait here.  And went and found a younger mexican dude to ask about carne asada.....he looks in the meat section...hoping, I'm sure, that it has appeared..nope.  He tells me, "I think I saw some in back" and then he looks at me blankly, "Ok..?"  I said.  "Would you like me to get it?" he asks No you moron, I just went through 3 different people 2 of which looked all up and down the meat section like I did for 10 minutes and I still don't have carne asada "Could you please?  That would be great..I really appreciate your help"  He walks off and returns a couple minutes later with some carne asada.  I thanked him..he said nothing...did he not hear me?  "Thanks so much again, I appreciate it"...did he still not hear me?
Asshole.

Alas, I find the water chestnuts and baby corn in a tiiiiiny little section miles from the canned food.  It was the "ethnic" food section I'm guessing as there were some asian bowl things, some indian simmer sauces and some (in my opinion) out of place water chestnuts and baby corn.

I was so busy looking for the shit I need so I could get out ASAP that I was unable to enjoy the people at Walmart...you know what I mean...you've seen the emails.  I started to feel panic-ey and ready to GET OUT when the screaming children started...and that little brat (I'm pretty sure I may have said that aloud) who wanted to play bumper carts with my cart while his mom wasn't looking...or maybe she was and she's just so overwhelmed with her little darling that she just lets him do what he wants....

I got my protein powder and got the hell out of there, telling Jason we'd have to go to a real grocery store to finish up some of our dinners...I should be good on healthy food for the week...enough to make 5-6 meals a day for the next 5 days...

Week 1

So my mom's been bugging me to start a blog about my 25 day boot camp experience.  She said it'll be fun to read.  We'll here's my disclaimer:  I'm not a funny writer, nothing exciting ever happens and I don't have self defeating thoughts...so I'm not so sure how funny this'll be (wait, isn't that a self defeating thought?).

I'm thinking I'll post multiple posts for the first few days, just to make it an easier read.
